No News is Good News

Not much to update, Taylor is safe and sound in Argentina and loving the Food in the CCM (MTC). His companion is his second cousin(moms side) from Thatcher. He also has a couple of Local Elders in the same room who help him with his Spanish. He has learned a lot in just one week. The house is quieter and cleaner with him not being here and we've had the same quart of milk in the fridge for two weeks. Anyone need milk? I'm Thankful he is able to go and serve the Lord. Don and I are busy with our callings and love being busy. We are waiting for the two new babies to arrive sometime in the next 2 to 3 weeks. I'll let everyone know when they get here. No pictures, we still don't have a camera. (Taylor took it with him.) Maybe for Christmas.

Happy Birthday to My DAD!

Today Nov 11th is my dads birthday. He's always been young at heart. Can you tell which one is my Dad in the picture? My brothers and him drove to Colorado on their motorcycles this summer. Crazy! I don't have time to tell you 71 things about my dad, but I can tell you this. I love him very much, and I'm so glad he is my dad. Happy Birthday!

Today was the Day!

We took Taylor to the airport today but first we did the 5 "Bs" Don gave him a wonderful father's Blessing. I don't know if it comforted Taylor, but it did me. Then we went to the Bank he needed traveling money and he had not gotten it the day before like I asked him too. Then Breakfast. We went to Coco's I had pumpkin pancakes, they were D-lishous, Don had en egg white vegi omelet and Taylor had a stomachache. Then off to the Big store (jc penny's) to get A long sleeve white shirt. The one he packed looked like it had never been washed and he had just washed it. So now he has a clean one for baptisms. We also went to Wal-mart to get a Spanish-English dictionary to study on the plane. Then off to the Big plane. We got to the airport with lots of time to spare so he would not be rushed. His brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews and friends came and visited for a half hour or so then off he went. Yes, my eyes were weepy but I controlled myself until he passed security. Don and I then went and took pictures of homes he is insuring and didn't get home until 3pm. P.S. we don't have a camera any more, we gave it to Taylor to take with him.

Time is getting short

Today is Monday Taylor is having his friends over for a get together. I went to wal-mart and got last minute things like shaving cream, razors, tooth paste, shampoo, face wash. (not for the party) For the party I got some of his favorite things, Tootsie rolls, cheese and crackers, chex mix, chocolate milk, and orange punch. 1 and 1/2 days left.
Sunday was a hard day. Fasting, ( I find I like to brush my teeth a lot on fast Sunday) Taylor bearing Testimony for the last time in public for two years, me giving my first lesson in R.S. on "Change" and the good thing about it was two or three people came up to me and told me that, the lesson was just for them because of things happening in their lives.
