September is almost over YEA!
OK, I'm glad September is almost over. Just way to much partying going on. October is the month to finish up getting Taylor's things ready for the mission. We bought shoes today and his grandma Crandell bought his shirts. We are looking for a nice watch for him, so if you have any suggestions let us know. One that will last 2 years but not get stolen/or mugged for.
A SHOUT OUT TO AMY AND NATE HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY!!
Now, for the fun part, I'm getting a calling in my ward on Sunday, but i won't share what it is until Monday. so if you want to take a guess go ahead. Mallory can NOT guess, i already told her, and I think Nathan knows too. so you two are not eligible to play. October is bring a baby shower for Amy too. Lots to do

Don's Birthday Trip
Every Year for his birthday Don goes to Utah to golf and attend the BYU home opener game with some friends of his. His cousin Kevin is the trainer for the team and is able to get him tickets. Here he is at one of the courses he played. (Thursday)
This year he was able to take Nate and Taylor. I think Nate got to go last year, but Tay was still in school, but not any more. I love the change of color and the beautiful mountain. They stayed in Park City Thursday night. (Thursday)
For Mallory's, and Don's Birthday they went to "Tucanos" for dinner. Its an Brazilian restaurant that serves meat on a sword. side note: When the other two missionaries went to the MTC we took them here for their Last meal with us. Taylor won't be going to Provo so this was his last meal. (Friday)
The Boy's and Hanna climbed Y mountain in the early morning, I wonder if Taylor had to carry Hanna up the mountain? (Friday am)
Don and Hanna walking to the BYU Book store. They went on lots of walks. I hope they got some Chocolate covered cinnamon bears! (Friday i think)
Mal and Jon's ward had a pre-game picnic. What fun. (Saturday)
Looks like Hanna took papa's chicken away! At least she's eating something!
Here they are at the game. Don likes to go real early to watch all the pre game stuff. (Saturday night)They are coming home Sunday morning around 10ish. They are flying stand-by using the passes we get from my dad each year. Thanks Dad! It looks like they had a great time and a last vacation before Taylor leaves. I bet the weather was nice too. I do like Utah during the Summer. Just can't stand the cold of winter. Happy 50th birthday Don! (on the 23rd) Love You!

One Birthday week down
....one more to go. It was a great birthday week. Monday NO SCHOOL! We had the Cluff FHE at our home, Rob and Cindy were in charge.Great hot dogs and hamburgers on the barbie. It was great to have family here. Rob and Cindy's daughter Courtney should know by the end of this week where the Lord needs her to go. We are all so excited for her. Tuesday Mal and Hanna came to town. What a bundle of energy Hanna has. Wednesday Taylor went through the
Temple. We had all our Children there and some with their spouses. What a great joy it was. afterward we went to Buka deBeppo for dinner. None of us went away hungry. I took the rest of the week off from work, so that on my birthday (10th) I could go to the Temple. Don and Taylor came with me. The family came by during the day and wished me happy birthday. Don and I did what we have done for the past 19 years for my birthday is shop for Taylor's birthday. We bought him hid luggage for his mission. I know it's a lame gift but it's what he needs at this time.
On the 11th Taylor's B-Day he went to work for a little bit then he and his dad and brother went to lunch and to play some indoor golf. Saturday we went back to the temple to get family pictures, then lunch at Ned's. It has been a full week. A week with family, friends, and laughs.

This month is such a Special one....
Don's b-day is on the 23rd. He'll be the BIG "50" I don't think he looks a day over 30. He's a hard worker and a great provider. He supports us in every thing we do. Mallory's is on the 24th she'll be 26. She doesn't look a day over 19. She's always been a ball of fire and fun to be with.
My birthday is on the 10th and I'll be 49. I don't look a day over 49. I'll tell you what I'm getting for by birthday in a min. The forth birthday is Taylor's on the 11th he'll be 19. He looks 19. Yes I had him the day after i turned 30. Good day for me.
This is what I'm getting for my birthday. Taylor is going to the Temple on the 9th of Sept. and all my children will be there. Mallory is flying down on the 8th so she can come. I have been thinking about this day for 28years, The day ALL my children are worthy and will be in the Temple together. On the 10th is our stake and branch temple day so I am taking the day off from work and going to the temple for the day. What a great day that will be. Not sure what we'll do for Taylor's day. More then likely go get a missionary suit. On the 17th-20th Don, Tay, & Nate are headed to Utah for Don's gift. He always goes the the home opener of the BYU game. So this year he's taking the two boys with him. They will also get to do some cool weather golfing. Our birthday month is packed with fun, join us if you'd like!
