Summer Vacation Cleaning Time
Taylor has been out of town. He left for California Sunday with some of the Volleyball team. He won't be back until next Sunday. So when he's gone I try to clean his room. That means his room gets clean once a year by me. Monday, I put everything on his bed, cleaned out his dresser, he didn't have clothes in the drawers just garbage. So I thought he might need a trash can so I got one at "Big Lots" for 4$ it looks like a mettle school can but its plastic. anyway I was able to vacuum and dust, that was Monday. On Tuesday I found 20 towels 6 bed sheets and tons of socks, 24 pairs of shoes and 6 loads of laundry in the heap on his bed. I got the towels and socks washed, I have to wait until Thursday to do more washing because today is the Sisters Prep day and they have washing to do. So I am going to get a couple of movies to watch so I can match socks and watch movies today. When Taylor gets home he will be sorting all his clothes to see which ones he will give away and what he'll keep for the summer. My next project is the garage like every year.

I love the rainny nights
Taylor did it! He is the last child in our family to graduate from high school. He almost didn't make it. Let me take you back a couple of days..........Wednesday night we had "THE BIG" sandwich get together. After the party he went to his mountain view friends house and they decided to go to the midnight showing of Terminator. He got home about 3am. Thursday morning we had to wake him up(6:45am) for grad. practice at 6:55am. We have no clue what he did for the rest of the day but at 5:30pm graduation night I woke him up and told him he needed to get ready to go, he told me he didn't need to be there until 6:30. So Don and I went to pick up grandma Crandell at 5:45 so we could get the prime seating on the top row where no one would complain about the umbrellas. At 6:45 we called Taylor and asked what part of the field he was on, and low and behold he was still ASLEEP in his bed. Don told him nicely that he might want to wake up and come to his graduation. Needless to say we did not know for sure if he was even there until we saw him walking to his seat. He told us after wards that he got there about 7:05pm. YES! it rained the whole time but it was a misty rain.

Happy Mothers Day to You and You and You!
Happy Mothers day to My Mom Terry. I didn't know what I was learning from you when I was growing up, until I was teaching the same things to my own children. Thanks for the lessons.(kim, terry,me holding brinlee)
Happy Mothers Day to my other Mother Joy, Who raised the Man that I chose to marry. Thanks for teaching him the qualities I was looking for.(joy, hanna)
Happy Mothers Day to my Daughters. Whom I love dearly. It is such a joy to see you three raising children righteously in the gospel. Going through trials that will make you a perfect mother. And Happy Mothers Day to my other Daughter, Amy who will be a wonderful, fun mother in the near future.
I had other mothers that helped me in my life, Mom Fullmer, my girlfriends mom whom i lived with for a couple of years, she is always happy to serve. My Dad's 2nd wife, Who didn't teach me all that much except for pet sitting skills, but did buy the stamps for my wedding announcements. My dad's third wife who taught me not to assume that all clear liquid in a paper cup is water.
Happy Mother's Day to All Mothers even if you are also the dad!

Life at the Crandells
Look what I was able to do after I wrote the stuff below!!!Someone gave Taylor a CD with Prom pictures on it and I figured out how to put them in a file.
You know we got a new camera, but it doesn't save pictures to the card thing, so I can't print out any pic. on my little printer and I still haven't figured out the down load thing to the computer so needless to say there will be no up-dated pictures with this post. Taylor was able to go to Red Mt. Prom on May 2nd with a gal he met at the mountain view winter formal and who went to Hale Elm. with him. A young lady named Brittany Hoffman. He said they had a great time. He looked real handsome in his TUX but of course I couldn't FIND the camera so I took a couple on my cell phone, do you think I know how to down load that? NOT! We had the Willis grand kids last weekend(may 1-3) We had lots of fun. But Grand mama and papa are tired out now.
Last night the 6th we went to the Boys volleyball banquet, It was real nice. They gave all the SR. players a poster of themselves and their Sr. team mates. So when you come over we not only have the poster size of Taylor in his football uniform, but also volleyball now.
He was named on the FIRST TEAM this year. His State games Begin on Monday the 11th at 6:30pm at Red mountain gym. Life is GREAT! but it needs to slow down just a bit.
